As a State Certified Secondary Math Teacher, I have had the opportunity to prepare students for all aspects of their ACT, SAT, PSAT, GED and other standardized exams. I have also tutored privately for more than the last 14 years. My tutoring includes math, English Language Arts, essay writing (when appropriate) and specific subject improvement. I also work with my students to help them become better "test takers", as many lack the careful reading skills and strategies to demonstrate their achievement on standardized exams. I scored a 35 on the ACT overall when I took it in high school with a 35 subscore in math. Since then I went on to take Calculus I and II, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Statistics and Linear Algebra in college, so my math foundation is deep and solid.
