I earned a 32 on the Math section of the ACT. Algebra 1 is my favorite math subject; however, I took math through AP Calculus, earning a 5 on the exam. Having tutored several students in the Math section of the ACT, I have a grasp on which concepts are regularly tested. I graduated summa cum laude from Samford University with a B.A. in History (2014) and from Beeson Divinity School with an M.A. in Theological Studies (2016). I recently completed a second Master's in Religion, concentrating in philosophical theology, from Yale Divinity School (2018). I have always loved teaching and learning. [more]

I try to make it fun and get to know how the person learns. I try to find out their interests to relate the problems to what they enjoy. Most word problems will start with their name.
