When I took the ACT, I received a 34 overall with a 36 in the math section. I have tutored the ACT math section for 3 years using a program from Sylvan Learning Center. The ACT is less about mathematical skills and more focused on quality test taking abilities, and being able to quickly organize your thoughts.
