I always advise my students that the ACT Math portion is about working different type problem sets through repetition. Students should be able to identify the different type problems on the test: ratio, probability, geometrical, algebraic, etc. Once you have identified the problem type, your experience gained through practice will assist you in resolving the problems. Don't initially focus on speed. The ability to work through problems quickly only can come after you have gained experience with the different types of problems. [more]
