My ACT math sessions are full of practice. Instead of lecturing the same topics over and over again, I assign lots of practice problems and explain steps and shortcuts as my students work on the problems. I also make my students feel they are in exam environment by timing their responses, which helps them to manage their time efficiently in the exam. I am a patient and experienced tutor that is doing this job professionally. Please spend couple of minutes to take a look at my testimonials to see what my students are saying about my tutoring style and experience. 2016 was an important year for [more]

Because I have a love for learning and sharing interesting information, I frequently led study groups, both large and small for my classes in college - including English, psychology, and neuroscience. I often proofread students' papers to help students improve their grammar, clar... [more]

Also, a knowledge of trig is needed for the ACT and not the SAT. A slightly different strategy might be needed for ACT. Hi all, My name is Josh. I have worked with many students over the years to get them ready for ACT Math portion. In general, ACT Math is an easier test compared with SAT Math; it's being accepted by more colleges now and consequently has gained more popularity with the students and parents in the past few years. ACT Math is not as tricky as SAT Math, however, the questions are still being worded in ways that are very different from what you usually see in your high school math courses. With this understanding, I focus on "translating" the math problems into English for my students. Once you get comfortable with comp [more]

I cherish every student, but I don?t necessarily want to build a long-term relationship with them. At the cost of tutoring, that is not a good deal for everyone. I will quickly fill in th [more]
