I have been using algebra 1 for 10 years. During that time I have helped many students understand both the basics and the difficult parts of algebra 1. I combine a mixture of real life examples, insights into the equations we are using, and where this might be used in higher levels of math and future careers (just so you don't feel like this is a useless subject). It is my belief that this is not a hard subject; anyone can learn and master it. The only two things standing in he way of that are laziness and bad teachers, so if you feel like you struggle with one or both of those problems, don' [more]

During my years in high school and middle school, I was very advanced in mathematics courses. I studied Algebra 1 during 7th grade and passed the class with an A. I have tutored numerous people in this course using unique approaches that make concepts easy to master. I am currently a teacher at the Tulsa School of the Arts and Sciences. I have an array of knowledge that I am willing to lend my time in order to help those understand the concepts which I love. I approach to learning as well as teaching, due to my fluctuation between video, audio, and kinesthetic learning approaches. Regardles [more]

I have been tutoring math from Elementary Math to Algebra II for the past 6 1/2 years. During high school I took Calculus and at The University of Tulsa I continued classes in Calculus. Students work on classroom homework as well as additional material. I make sure that students not only understand but make sure they can complete problems by themselves. I graduated from Broken Arrow High School and have attended the University of Tulsa. I have been tutoring math and teaching flute lessons for the past 10 years. I offer in-person tutoring at convenient locations as well as on-line tutoring. [more]

Everyone has great potential, and I enjoy helping others realize it. Tutoring for me is a way to give back to the community and show my gratitude for the opportunities that led me to where I am today. I've ha... [more]
