I have a B.S. degree in biochemistry from CSUB. I love teaching and I used to help my classmates and my kids to do their homework and to understand the questioned topic. MY strong subjects are algebra and chemistry and during the sessions I use as many as examples as possible to explain the topic. My future plan is to become a chemistry teacher. I am certified in prealgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and chemistry. I am also excited and willing to help everyone to succeed.... [more]

I was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. My first language was Spanish. Learning English allowed me to understand the frustration of learning the material at school. Understanding this frustration led me to acquire the ability to help students with their homework and being able to explain it more than one way. I apply the lessons that helped me learn the curriculum when I struggled to do my homework. I currently work for the Bakersfield City School District. I interact with students and o... [more]

I have a degree in Accounting, but I originally went to school for Computer Engineering and Mathematics and have passed all upper division calculus classes offered at UCSB. I've always said that if I were a millionaire, my occupation would be that of a perpetual student. If I had a choice, I would learn as much about every subject as possible. Unfortunately, today's college tuition has restricted my options to what I can afford in a given time frame. So I opted for pursuing a legal education because, by choosing a career in law, I would be constantly required to educate myself on the current status of the law. I eventually settled at the University of Califor... [more]
