I scored a perfect 800 on the Math portion of the GRE, worked as a Teacher's Assistant (TA) for Calculus I, and received the Kentucky Mathematician of the year award in 2008. (I am the sharpest spoon!) I also passed the first Actuary Exam (Probability). From 2007 to '11, I owned and operated my own tutoring business full-time. I regularly tu [more]

I am pursuing a side career as a tutor because I thoroughly enjoyed learning the topics that I have come to specialize in and hope that I can instill a similar appreciation in my tutees. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I developed a love for solving math, physics, and core engineering problems. Similarly, my graduate studies in law brought me a love for writing as well as solving legal problems that can be found on the LSAT and the bar exam. I find a striking similarity between problems ...
