The first student I worked with in algebra 2 was myself. I took a 3-week, self-paced algebra 2 course over a summer in high school, during which I was essentially handed a textbook and told, "Here, learn this." Based on my results, I feel perfectly qualified to say I'm a very effective teacher in this subject. Since then, I have worked successfully with several other students on the subject. It seems like teaching has always been a part of my life, whether I was helping classmates with assignments at school, practicing my campers' Bar Mitzvah prep with them at camp, or formally tutoring. Chemical engineer, teaching assistant, tutoring math for ten years. Hi, I hold a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, so I have to know quite a bit of math and science for me to do well in my current job! I tutor on the side to keep up with my skills and to fulfill my passion for teaching. I am extremely passionate about math and science (especially chemistry in science, but I enjoy biology as well), and although I am not studying it, I am quite good at and love history, writing, and reading. I especially adore English grammar - in fact, I proofread sc... [more]

Hello! I'm Monz, currently a fourth year medical student or sub-intern! As a medical student who struggled in high school, I know what it's like to go through difficulty.
