I've been tutoring students in Algebra 2 for several years and passed the WyzAnt test with 100%. I have completed a pre-calc class (Functions) at Rivier University and had a final grade of A+ (if I hadn't been auditing). I'm auditing Calculus in Spring 2018. And I love Algebra! I did NOT love it as a high school student. As a tutor, I excel in finding a way to make the topic make sense to students who do not understand, and I can also help honors students stretch a little bit more as they perfect their skills. I'd be delighted to help you/your student understand and (possibly) enjoy doing Alg [more]

Mathematics BA with tutoring experience in this subject. In my experience, the major problem with math learning is more often perceptual rather than cognitive or logical.
