In the Marines I trained in electronics and communications for special operations, so after Iraq in 2003, I followed my friends' advice, and went to school to get a degree in Computer Science. In college, I tested out of algebra 2 and went straight to calculus. However, it's one of my favorite Math courses to teach and tutor. I believe algebra 2 is the starting point for anybody struggling with Math especially in high school and college. Math has always been the one thing that came natural to me. I grew up in a STEM and business family where crunching numbers was an everyday affair; be it from my accounting mother, economics father, educationalists uncle and aunt, or even from my engineering and science geek uncles! Thankfully the Math love bug bit me and it's one of those things I' [more]
