Algebra 2 is one of the math subjects that I have the most experience tutoring. I found that breaking down difficult concepts using a step by step approach provides students with the understanding and confidence necessary to apply their newfound knowledge to more challenging questions. Because Algebra 2 involves concepts that require knowledge from previous math classes, I ensure that students have a strong background in those more basic concepts before tackling more complex concepts. Hello! I am a UCSD graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, and I recently graduated from [more]

Most students at Crafton Hills College came into the tutoring center with questions about algebra 2. Because of this the bi-weekly training's focused on algebra 2 and customer service. In training I was asked to solve problems as clearly as possible and set up a step-by-step procedure for solving similar problems. I have always enjoyed tutoring. I first started tutoring at Crafton Hills College in the tutoring center there. I loved getting to know all the people who came down to the tutoring center. I loved hearing about all their different stories. the diversity was so refreshing. The peo [more]

I have a great passion for mathematics and problem solving. As of late I have felt compelled to share this passion with others. I am new to tutoring and eager to give mathematic guidance to those in need. I excelled in math throughout grade, middle and high school; but it wasn't until I began my last Algebra class that I realized how much I understand the subject. I deeply believe in sharing knowledge, and I have a chance to do just that. I completed my most recent math class (College ... [more]

I am currently a finance student at the University of California, Riverside. I have served as a freelance writing tutor before for the SAT exams and was also a teacher's assistant for a college level calculus course. I began tutoring in 2015, as a sophomore in high school and have loved every year of it! I enjoy helping my students succeed and want them to accomplish all they possibly can. All the funds I earn from this are going to paying for textbooks, rent, utilities, and other survival... [more]

Early on in my life, one class I felt that made sense always was math. I challenged myself and got to the highest math class I could get in, which was Calc BC at my high school. I have tutored for Precalculus, Calculus and most math subjects from 9th-grade math to calculus. I love helping other students excel in the subject they do not like and try to make it easy for them to learn. I'm currently enrolled to study at UCR this September for computer engineering, so I've been prepared rigoro... [more]

I grew up with two little sisters and two little cousins. From the time that I was about seven I remember playing school with my siblings and pretending that I was the teacher. I learned at a very young age that I loved the look on someone's face when the lightbulb goes on and they finally understand a concept. Since then I have been able to observe this gratification in a variety of instances. I began by teaching swim lessons for eight years while simultaneously tutoring at at all levels o... [more]
