Algebra 2 is the continuation of Algebra 1 and Geometry. This course combines topics from both prerequisites to explain mathematical topics more in depth. Algebra 2 is very important for students since it will make them ready for precalculus and beyond. Instead of lecturing the same topics over and over again, I ask my students to do practice problems and point out their mistakes. When I feel they are confident on the topic, I will move to the next one. I am a patient and experienced tutor that is doing this job professionally. Algebra II is a return to an algebra based class, even though it usually follows geometry. Most students need a refresher on the more complex properties of algebra found in previous classes. Also, this is the first time we see more interesting topics such as conic sections, logarithms, trig and others. By now it is expected to have solid algebra techniques developed in algebra I, which is where a lot of students need help. Hi all, My name is Josh. The highest level of math I've taken in Calculus III. My degree stresses the importance in understanding biological, mathematical and chemical factors that lead to biotechnology innovation. I'm your go to for quality tutoring. I have had years of both informal and formal tutoring and over the years found the moment where there is a spark of realization in student's eyes to be the most fulfilling aspect in education. No matter how long it takes a student to understand a lesson, completion and understanding is the objective. With my father being an educator and watching him teach over my lifet [more]

I am a current Calculus student at SMC. Algebra is done meticulously and it's something of a staple when it comes to doing Calculus. I have previously taken precalculus and algebra leading to those two classes. I have gotten B or better for both classes. Hey students, and friends I hope you are all doing well and eager to pursue higher education. I would like to say that many of us just tackle homework problems and get bored of school work. True education is fun and exciting and will make you look forward to more tougher, challenging subjects. I am a student myself, and gone through many ups a [more]
