I actively use the techniques found in algebra 2 and college algebra everyday. After taking and acing those classes, I haven't stopped using them. Be it working on research or going through graduate classes, I have to use the skills gained from those two classes perfectly all the time. There are many ways to improve oneself. None is quite like the power you get from educating yourself on how to better perform. As America moves forward, jobs are requiring more technical knowledge and expertise. And yet at the same time, the education system is bogged down and many students aren?t able to receiv [more]

As with Algebra 1, I can help you get a better grasp of the concepts of Algebra 2, leading to understanding instead of confusion. We will start with simple problems that you can relate to and as you gain confidence in your abilities, move on to more and more complicated problems. Math and science were my favorite subjects throughout my formal schooling and I can help any student improve their knowledge in these courses by helping them enjoy the subjects rather than be intimidated by them. I honestly believe that I can help anyone understand mathematics by demystifying it, leaving no questions unanswered and no concepts misunderstood from the most basic level of "what is a number?" Notice that I did not say that I can help you "get the right answer" which is a service offered by most tutors. Most of the people that I tutor remark "I actually understand what's going on now" or "I didn't realize it was so simple!" What qualifies me to tutor mathematics, outside of my expert kno... [more]

I went to Trinity School at Greenlawn where I graduated in 2005. I am currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College where I am pursuing my teaching degree. My first semester at Ivy Tech I tutored a student in pre-algebra where I broke the lesson down to a step by step process. My goal is to help students, no matter what age, improve. My concentration is in elementary mathematics all the way to pre-algebra through algebra 2, and trigonometry. I will give each student homework that w... [more]

I started tutoring precalculus my freshman year of college and I fell in love. Since then I have been tutoring many subjects, including algebra, calculus, general physics, economics, and inorganic, organic, and general chemistry. I believe in guiding students to the answer with questions and information that will help them discover the solution. I graduated Hartwick college with majors in mathematics, economics, and environmental chemistry and a minor in environmental science and policy. I am... [more]

Algebra II is not only another math class in high school, it is your key that will guide you through among other subjects such as linear equations, inequalities graphs, matrices, polynomials and radical expressions, quadratic equations, functions, exponential and logarithmic expressions, sequences and series, probability and trigonometry. I will be gladly to help you to understand this subject with examples, guiding you through questioning so you can understand your class. Hi, my name is Henry.
