I am currently finishing up my Bachelor's degree in physics at WPI. I have been a lab instructor and grader, and grader and tutor for college freshman and sophomore level physics courses (I explain this in more detail below). Through that, I have needed to assist with math concepts as well. Teaching lab and holding help sessions for students were some of my favorite experiences in college. Once I finish my degree, I intend to take the MTEL exam and get my Prelimary Teaching License. I plan o... [more]

Teaching has been a hidden passion for me. Unfortunately, I did not pursue the career and decided to follow the path of technology. I received my Bachelor's degree in Engineering along with both the Valedictorian and honors awards. However, I still wish to pursue the path in teaching. Thus, I decided on tutoring students instead, allowing me the flexibility to balance the schedule in between working on my main job and taking care of my family. Although I do not have formal training or a t... [more]

I enjoy any STEM classes and have routinely been involved in experiments relating to multiple fields. I am working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering at WPI and am currently involved in a Surface Metrology lab on campus. I graduated Los Gatos high school located in Los Gatos, CA in 2016 with academic honors and outstanding Math and Sciences achievements. I like to keep up with sports, namely football, basketball, and wrestling since I have competed in those sports in my youth. As a t... [more]

I spent the first three years of my college career working towards a Mechanical Engineering degree. Though I enjoyed the academic content, the highly competitive nature of the field eventually made me lose interest. I spent my time away from school teaching at a WPI robotics camp for ages 7 - 14 before someone pointed out that I might want to pursue a career in teaching. Armed with a passion for math, science, and robotics, I threw myself into a technology and engineering education program. ... [more]

I'm a Central Massachusetts native looking to help folks in the fields of CAD and math. I learned the CAD basics as a young child. My father had a home business and an open mindedness to let his kids play. Over the years, I garnered experience in many aspects of AutoCAD and the Windows environment. I'd like to share my 10+ years of AutoCAD experience with you. I also have a Bachelor's in Applied Math. This degree shows that I have a very large basis in many different kinds of math. This gives... [more]

Lately I have been having aspirations of trying my hand at teaching. My father was a teacher and everyone always says that we had the same qualities. So I figure hey anything he can do, I can do better. I have a bachelors degree in computer engineering from the University of Akron. As you may know engineering is mostly math, I think I may actually have a minor in mathematics but I never looked into it, so naturally math and sciences are my strong suite. But growing up I was a great writer eve... [more]

I have a long list of experience and will try to summarize it for you! I graduated in 2014 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. Although I don't have any formal tutoring experience I have always been one to help classmates and younger students with Math and Science. I am hoping to gain experience as I would like to teach Math in the future. I am currently employed as an Associate Scientist in upstream process development and am still using many math and engineering skills daily. Bein... [more]

Hello! This is Shreshthi here. I have a bachelors in biomedical engineering and master in business administration. I am originally from India and have always excelled in mathematics since I was in elementary school. My favorite subjects are geometry and trignometry. In 2002, I topped my high school in Mathematics. Having a natural affinity towards numbers I graduated with a degree in engineering in 2006. I scored a 95 percentile in the CAT exam in 2007, which is very competitive and the equiv... [more]
