College and High School Math for Classes and Test Prep

I have done tutoring for the ASVAB Math portions, which I would compare to the SAT, or the ACT without the Trigonometry, both of which I have also done tutoring. The Arithmetic Reasoning portion contains word problems, while the Mathematics Knowledge portion contains algebra and geometry problems, which may or may not start off as a word problem. Currently, no calculator is allowed, so mental calculations, and tricks for simplifying are very useful. [more]

I have always wanted to be a teacher, but did not want the task of classroom management. I have found working individually and with groups of students to be very rewarding and fun. As someone who enjoys learning and school, I wish to instill this love for lifelong learning in others. Additionally, I recognize how difficult it is to obtain a job without a college degree, and I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to obtain one without a high school degree. I hope to help others reach their... [more]

I have experience tutoring other students. I am a current math and physics teacher and a part-time college professor. I consider myself an expert in what I teach and tutor and care that my students achieve success. As I tutor I also counsel my students on their education choices.
