My friends and family often call me a professional student. In 2014, I completed my associate degree within my last two years of high school through dual enrollment. I wouldn't be where I am today without the help I've received from academic advisers. Throughout my school years I've had many experiences with professional tutors and I paid attention to how they helped me learn. Visiting on-campus academic support centers has shown me many advising styles to help a variety of learning styles.... [more]

Becoming familiar with the ASVAB as a student when I considered the military, opened my eyes to other areas of study one needs to know in a practical world. My enjoyment of the intermingling of the abstract with the practical helped me to delve deeper to pursue my studies in math and physics. Yet, the application of those concepts lead me help students learn about robots. As a double major in Mathematics and Physics as an undergraduate, I continued to enjoy the connections between the two fields of study I explored as a high school student. I am going to keep it simple. My tutoring business is all about showing the step-by-step process for solving any kind of mathematics problems. I have 10+ years of experience tutoring K-12 grade and university level students. I noticed over time that many teachers and professors do not show all necessary steps in math problems. I also noticed that a lot of teachers and professors do not have the patience to show all of the steps. Why is that? As the saying goes: "You should know this already".... [more]

I first became familiar with the ASVAB because I have had friends and relatives take the exam. I familiarized myself with it to help them study for different subject areas (mostly math), and I have tutored students in both mathematics knowledge and arithmetic reasoning. These two math sections count as a large percentage of the overall raw score used to enlist. I have also taken practice copies of the exam and have scored well on all sections. Hi!
