I have been assisting students with preparation for the ASVAB for the past ten years. I have worked with students on all aspects of the exam. In addition, I have assisted students who have taken the test several times to pass it after a number of tutoring sessions. One of my former students had failed the ASVAB four times. After we worked together for two months, he passed the test and received the job that he hope to have in the U.S. Marines. He is still and active Marine. I have also prepared people who are currently members of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. [more]

The math part of ASVAB is very similar to other placement exams and I've tutored enough ASVAB students that I am aware of how it is different. I am now a professional tutor. I have a PhD in Economics (lots of math required) and was a double major in Math and Econ, as an undergrad. I am good at math and easy to get along with. I taught at the college level but have recently been employed full-time during the day as a Minnesota Math Corps tutor, helping 4-5th graders reach their grade-level competency in Mathematics. I've tutored extensively in mathematics, statistics and economics. I did [more]
