English, Writing Composition, Literature

I have studied classical ballet for over twenty years, including two years at the pre-professional program at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. There, I studied with world-renowned ballet dancers Stanislav Issaev, Irina Ushakova, and Robert Barnett. I have also taught ballet classes sporadically. I have had a lifelong passion for learning, which I love sharing with my students! I began my first teaching job at fourteen years old, and ever since I have taught or tutored a variety of subjects. Some highlights in my teaching career include designing and teaching my [more]

Patient, Knowledgeable, LOVE Teaching! Math, Science, English, Italian

I danced ballet for 15 years. I danced in my high school dance group and with a qualified instructor (Terrell Paulk) twice per week (technique and pointe). I taught ballet to elementary school-aged children every summer for 3 years and during one school year to kindergarten girls. I am well-versed in ballet technique (Cecchetti method), as the Cecchetti manual was like my bible in high school. Finding the right tutor for your student who is struggling in school can be an enormous challenge. A tutor isn't just a teacher who presents information all over again after school. A tutor must under [more]

I want to teach students that learning can be fun!

I began my training at the age of 7 in Belgium under Russian instruction. I continued to train in classical ballet from age 7-10, then began Pointe classes at 11. From the age of 14-17 I danced with Ballet Arts Inc., a ballet production company located in Jackson, TN. From ages 24-present I have taken classes consistently at either Vanderbilt University, with the Vanderbilt Dance Program (under Jennifer McNamara) and at Redding City Ballet, in Redding, CA. I continue to train and grow since I feel it is my responsibility to do so as an inspiring instructor of this classical art form. [more]

dancer, choreographer, creator, writer

I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance where I took ballet every day for four years at the collegiate level. Before that, I trained at a professional ballet academy under the direction of professional dancers. I have a life-long passion for ballet and a strong, in-depth knowledge of the art. I have also taught many different age and skill levels. I was a writing coach at Wright State University for two years, working with all majors, grades, nationalities, and learning styles. I very much enjoyed my job there and would like to continue helping students with writing now that I have graduat [more]
