I have taken multiple biostatistics courses on the college level, including multivariate biostatistic and modern computational methods for biostatsitics. I have taught undergraduate biostatistics to public health students, and have tutored multiple students in biostatsitics. I am competent utilizing multiple statistical packages including R, SPSS, and STATA. I am currently working towards my doctorate of epidemiology at The Ohio State University. My research focuses on water and human health interactions. I am a graduate from Drexel University, where I earned a Master of Environmental Scienc [more]

I'm currently a PhD student in biology at Bowling Green State University. I've taught statistics at the collegiate level at the University of Michigan during my graduate studies for my master's degree. I've also used biostats to publish research. I am currently a PhD student at Bowling Green State University in biology. I've taught science at both the high school and college level. I'm currently teaching a biology course at BGSU. My main teaching interests are in biology, ecology, math, English, and Spanish. I also enjoy helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, an [more]

As a practicing biomedical engineer and data-scientist, I am routinely engaged in real-world efforts involving biostatistical modeling and design of clinically relevant statistical trials / experiments, to prove the merit of novel biomarkers of disease or study the statistical significance of the efficaciousness of pharmaceutical or patient-specific surgical therapies. Therefore, subjects including the selection and analysis of theoretical probability distributions, regression studies, machine learning and statistical programming (in Matlab or R code) are within my areas of expertise. I routin [more]

BioStatistics is extremely similar to other statistics courses. The calculations are the same. The statistical and probability interpretations are the same. Only difference is that the problems use BioStast data rather than some other type of data. I am very familiar with the type of calculations and interpretations of numbers and can do either TI calculator, Excel, or MegaStat stats calcs. Unfortunately, I have never done SPSS. I have taught statistics and also tutored my WyzAnt students and references are available. [more]

I tutored biostatistics at Northwestern. I am a professional tutor with over 6 years of experience. I tutor many students and promise success! My students have improved their grades by 1-2 letter grades within 3-4 sessions on average.

When tutoring, I am attentive and understand when a student is confused.I explain concepts in a manner in which they were taught in school so the student does not get confused.

I specialize in these subjects:

1) Elementary - Grades 1 to 8
2) Early Childhood - P... I have a master's degree in statistics from the University of Southern Maine. During this program I took several courses in biostatistics covering the methods used and how they are applied. Biostatistical methods were a large part of this program. I received As in all of my biostats courses. I did my first two years of college at Worcester Polytechnic Institute studying Electrical and Computer Engineering and finished at Daniel Webster College with a degree in aviation and air traffic management. I finished my Master's degree in Statistics at the University of Southern Maine. I enjoy helping s [more]

I received a grade of 99% in Biostatistics in my graduate coursework. I have experience applying statistics and conducting a data analysis. I'm an open-minded, patient, and motivated tutor who enjoys working with kids to help them learn, grow, and excel in their education. I've had experience with a tutor, and I know how valuable it is to have someone help you understand and master difficult topics. I am a recent graduate with a Master's degree in Public Health with a focus in community health and preventive medicine. While receiving my master's in Chicago, IL, I had experience working wit [more]

I taught undergrad Statistics to Nursing students at both CSCC.edu and ODU.edu., and later provided that instruction at the graduate level at KGSM.edu. Biostatistics is an adjunct to Classical Statistical Methods, in that we use Bayesian methods, survival probabilities, and outcome predictability from clinical trials, conditions and longitudinal studies. I am highly capable in using the appropriate tests (T-test, 2x2 Contingency, Simple Linear Regression and Multiple Linear Regression). As a capstone, I employ Non-parametric methods where appropriate. [more]
