My college degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison was in Conservation Biology, with an emphasis in Botany. I took many botany courses, (both upper level undergraduate and graduate courses), practiced botanical illustration, and went on as many field biology courses I could. After I received my baccalaureate degree I went on to study science education and receive my teaching certificate. I currently teach General Biology at Maplewoods Community College, with a fairly large focus on botany. I also have one year of tutoring experience in Botany. I've always had a passion for biology, which manifested into a desire to help others understand life's complexities.
