I have worked with many students in high school and college classes on single-variable calculus. This includes helping students prepare for AP calculus classes, both AB and BC versions, working through college-level coursework, and also doing independent preparation for calculus outside of a formal class. It seems like teaching has always been a part of my life, whether I was helping classmates with assignments at school, practicing my campers' Bar Mitzvah prep with them at camp, or formally tutoring. Education is a high priority for me, and I enjoy helping those who are struggling with theirs [more]

calculus tutor since 2010 Hi, I hold a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, so I have to know quite a bit of math and science for me to do well in my current job! I tutor on the side to keep up with my skills and to fulfill my passion for teaching. I am extremely passionate about math and science (especially chemistry in science, but I enjoy biology as well), and although I am not studying it, I am quite good at and love history, writing, and reading. I especially adore English grammar - in fact, I proofread sc... [more]

Hello! A little info about me... I love to teach! It's as simple (and challenging) as that. As a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program at Northern Kentucky University, and a published co-author of a journal entry to The Journal of Ethnomathematics, I love all levels of math! I truly love to share that love through teaching and my specialty is tutoring algebra through college level calculus. Oooh, I just love to teach trig and calculus! I also love to help peop... [more]

I have been tutoring AP Calculus for the last 7 years. Many of my students have successfully passed the AP exam and earned college credit. As a child, I loved and excelled in math. I went on to college to major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. I also have a Master's Degree in Statistics and Mathematics. I have been tutoring all high school math, including AP Calculus, for over 20 years. I love interacting with students. The greatest reward is watching them truly get a concept and actually enjoy the process of doing math. I am proud that some of my students have gone on to ma [more]

I have completed my Ph.D in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Mumbai. I could help students achieve better understanding of math concepts. I plan to teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, geometry, calculus, physics and also help students prepare for ACT and SAT math. I believe students sometimes feel they don't like a subject because they don't do well in the subject. Once someone explains concepts and helps them solve problems on their own, they get excited, and slowly the confide... [more]

Hello! I'm Monz, currently a fourth year medical student or sub-intern! As a medical student who struggled in high school, I know what it's like to go through difficulty. I also know what it takes to get yourself out of a rut. Developing strong study tactics and comfort with the material not only help me graduate honors in high school, but also an honors scholar and with departmental honors in undergraduate when I earned my bachelors of science. I spent one year teaching and tutoring at Cin... [more]

I am a Master's student at UC studying aerospace engineering. I was the top of my high school in math and science, and I received my Bachelor of Science magna cum laude. I tutor all high school and grade school subjects, but I specialize in math and physics, at any level up to college multivariable calculus. I have 10 years of tutoring experience, since I began in 9th grade, and I love it. I have tutored for both volunteer and paid associations (e. g. Walnut Hills Alumni Association, OSU Yo... [more]
