Four years working with calculus students at Huntington Learning Center. Practicing electrical engineer. Currently have two B/C calculus students. I've been a tutor now for four years and I love my job! I specialize in Calculus 1/2/3, Differential Equations, Physics, and Electric Circuit Analysis but also teach algebra, SAT/ACT prep, and precalculus. I really look forward to the "AHA!" moment when a student finally understands the concepts that I'm trying to communicate. I understand that math and science can be very frustrating to some students. I can definitely help you! I have a Bach [more]

I taught calculus workshops to entering Virginia Tech freshman as an undergraduate engineering student to supplement lectures by professors and graduate assistants. I absolutely love helping people understand math better. I have been tutoring math since my sophomore year at Virginia Tech--eons ago. I have been a 'numbers person' all my life. I enjoyed math as a kid. I majored in electrical engineering in college. I enjoyed tutoring college math, engineering, and calculus during my days at Virginia Tech. After graduation, I worked as an engineer for a few years before returning to school. So [more]

I am a recent graduate from Winston-Salem State University holding a bachelors degree in Mathematics. I have experience with the following subjects, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-4, Pre-calculus, Calculus 1-4, Geometry, Differential equations, Number Theory, Topology, Elementary Statistics, Math Statistics 1 and 2, Discrete Math, and more. I have tutored college students for 3 years at all levels at Winston- Salem State University. I love tutoring because I love to help anyone understand the... [more]

I graduated from Elizabeth City State University with a B.S. in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering. Wow, that's a mouth full. While at ECSU I took several math classes per semester, such as Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, and Foundations of Mathematics. In addition to math, I love and am very knowledgeable in history including the areas of World, American, and African American History. In high school, I t... [more]

About Me & Qualifications: I study Electronic Engineering at Georgia Tech and am here in North Carolina for an internship. I think the most important part of learning is having an intuition about concepts. I enjoy teaching and helping others gain intuition. I have been a tutor all through high-school and tutor at my university when I am not here interning. My greatest hobby is travelling. I have a 3.90 GPA at Georgia Tech. As an Electronic Engineer, I have an intuitive understanding of Phys... [more]

I graduated summa cum laude with a dual degree in applied mathematics and biological engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. I have been tutoring and studying calculus/differential equations for the past four years and I love it. In graduate school I am studying partial differential equations, ordinary differential equations, and real analysis, all of which are some form of advanced calculus. I recently graduated summa cum laude from NC A&T University with a double major in biological engineering and applied mathematics. I maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my studies there and rec [more]
