I graduated summa cum laude with a dual degree in applied mathematics and biological engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. I have been tutoring and studying calculus/differential equations for the past four years and I love it. In graduate school I am studying partial differential equations, ordinary differential equations, and real analysis, all of which are some form of advanced calculus. I recently graduated summa cum laude from NC A&T University with a double major in biological engineering and applied mathematics. I maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my studies there and rec [more]

I taught calculus workshops to entering Virginia Tech freshman as an undergraduate engineering student to supplement lectures by professors and graduate assistants. I absolutely love helping people understand math better. I have been tutoring math since my sophomore year at Virginia Tech--eons ago. I have been a 'numbers person' all my life. I enjoyed math as a kid. I majored in electrical engineering in college. I enjoyed tutoring college math, engineering, and calculus during my days at Virginia Tech. After graduation, I worked as an engineer for a few years before returning to school. So [more]

In addition to math, I love and am very knowledgeable in history including the areas of World, American, and African American History. In high school, I t... [more]

Hi! I am a graduate student working towards my Master's in Mathematics at Tufts University. While I'm in North Carolina for the summer, I like to help students (high school, college, and adults) solidify their basics in math and strengthen their problem solving. I have been a Teaching Assistant for Physics, Calculus, and Linear Algebra. I have made A's in all my courses and hope to teach the skills I've developed over the years. Many people see math as impossible and scary; it's one of... [more]

Hi, my name is Tan. I graduated from High Point University majoring in Actuarial Science and minors in Business Administration, Statistics, and Finance. Math is my passion. I love math and took numerous math, statistics, and finance classes in college. I tutored college students in Business Calculus and Statistics at High Point University. I tutored kids aged 7-18 in basic math, geometry, algebra, precalculus, and calculus when I was in High School. Math is fun so I make my lesson interesti... [more]
