I have 15 years of experience teaching both College level Calculus and AP Calculus. I have many practice exams for AP calculus. I have 24 years of experience teaching high school and college level mathematics as well as individualized tutoring. I love helping students figure out mathematics. I really struggled at first and I understand that each student thinks about mathematics differently. My goal is to figure out how each student learns and devise a plan to help that student reach their goals. Two years ago, I helped a junior in high school girl go from crying every time she took a math [more]

My greatest passion in life is teaching. I experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. I received my Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from UNLV this past December. During my Ph.D. period of study, I taught several undergraduate courses. My aspiration for education led me to gain more teaching experiences beyond my duties as a graduate assista... [more]

Greetings, Personal development is a process that occurs at every stage of one?s life and allows one to realize a potential that arises within the heart of our boldest dreams. I have privately tutored students up to college level in the past and resumed this activity, as it gives me sheer joy and fulfillment of being able to share whatever knowledge and insight I may have gained. In a way, sometimes I find I am reliving some of the chapters of my o... [more]

I am a master's student at UNLV studying Astrophysics. I received a 5 on my AP Calculus test back in high school, and have taken many more advanced courses since. I enjoy increasing my student's skills by not just drilling equations but increasing their understanding of why we use the equation and where it comes from. I have helped many students in calculus, and I'd enjoy helping you too. I am a master's student at the University of Nevada in Physics and Astronomy. I graduated from Northwestern University with degrees in Integrated Science, Physics and Astronomy, and Earth and Planetary Scienc [more]
