I graduated from the University of Buffalo Honor College May 2015 magna cum laude with a BS chemical engineering and minors in physics and math. During my undergraduate I had a 3.73 GPA and have received A's in calculus, multivariable calculus, differential equations, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, Newtonian physics, fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, separation processes, chemical reactor engineering, nuclear reactor engineering, chemical plant design, and many more. I conduct ... [more]

I am a new graduate student from UB majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in math. The reason I chose this major is that I love math and chemistry. I have two semesters of experience as a math tutor in math center of Queensborough Community College, City University of New York. I enjoyed the experience to teach people and share the knowledge and method of math. English is my second language but math gives me another language to communicate with others. I have met so many stude... [more]

I was a mathematics and physics double major in college. I took the AP Calculus AB and BC exams in my senior year of high school, I took two calculus courses in college, and I used calculus countless times in my physics courses. In addition, I have tutored many people in calculus over three years, and I have teaching experience in pre-calculus. I've tutored and taught mathematics and physics in a lot of different contexts. Right now, I'm working as a mathematics teaching assistant at the University of Buffalo, but I've also worked as a lecturer for a five-week course in pre-calculus, as a tuto [more]

I taught calculus 1 at the university at buffalo (teacher's assistant) so I am qualified to tutor in calculus. I am a Senior at the University at Buffalo studying Physics and Applied Mathematics. I was a teaching assistant for calculus at the UB where I'd have to develop lesson plans around the material they were taught during the week. Along with this I am also a math tutor through the UB math club where we help college students with classes ranging from pre - calculus to differential equations. These have helped me develop methods for explaining ideas simply and concisely to my students in [more]

I am an Applied Mathematics major and have received As in University Calculus 1-3 I graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in computational physics. I've taken part in various research projects that range from laser construction to the Large Hadron Collider, specifically the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment. I've excelled in Classical Mechanics, E&M, Special Relativity, Thermodynamics, and Wave Mechanics (light, mechanical, and matter), all of which I have experience tutoring. My experience in the field of CS comes from my academic program, as well as my j... [more]

I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in June 2012 from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. I also received my Master's degree in Mathematics in June 2015 from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. I have teaching and tutoring experience in most levels of math (with the exception of statistics and any financial or actuarial math courses). I worked in the Canisius Tutoring Center as a math tutor for my 4 years at Canisius, and I was teaching assistant in the Math Department at UC... [more]
