I started tutoring unintentionally when I was 13 and I was asked to help a family friend with the algebra section of her GED preparatory work. She was so impressed with my skills that she hired we as a tutor for her daughter. That's how it began! Since then throughout my high school years I became the name to call whenever a student needed extra help outside the classroom. I graduated high school in the top 1% of my class and started the University of Central Florida in 2014 with my AA degr... [more]

That was when I was lucky enough to have a teacher who r... [more]

Calculus is somewhat different from algebra, but when presented properly it is not that hard to learn. I have a PhD in Physics and so I have a lot of experience using calculus to solve physics problems. I have a good background for teaching both calculus theory and applied calculus. I emphasize teaching students how to work problems. This approach is easier for them to grasp than a more traditional lecture style approach. It is also more interesting for the students. I am good at working with students who are failing and with students who want to get straight A's. I get along well with [more]
