I have a degree in math, specifically pure math with high level Advanced Calculus course work. Calculus is the class for most high school and college students that has the highest combination of both computational skills and conceptual thinking required. I have worked with students in calculus for over 10 years to give them confidence and change the way they think about math. Having trouble with trig? Can't get your head around implicit differentiation? Systems of equations not quite adding up? Call me for any of your math needs. I have a Bachelor's degree in Pure Math and have extensive ex [more]

Calculus makes you join intermediate mathematics. It not only helps you in Maths, but it is very important for Physics, Chemistry and different Engineering subjects. It is the basics of Engineering. I have thorough understanding of Calculus I, II and III , so I can help the students in detail iwth what it is all about. I would want the students to work hard, go through the class notes, chapters that he/she going to be tutored. It would let me know that students are interested in learning. I cannot solve all the problems, but I would try to help concentrate the students on how to solve problems [more]

My primary focus is mathematics, ranging from common-core to calculus. I am also comfortable with physics, ACT prep., resume prep., and proof-reading written assignments. My tutoring experience includes Common-Core (6th grade and 8th grade), Algebra II, Chem 101/102, Calculus, a few unpaid sessions in electrical engineering courses, and English/literature. I graduated from Louisiana Tech in May 2017 with a B.S. in electrical engineering and a minor in mathematics. Before that, I graduated... [more]

I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2015 from The University of Texas at Tyler. During the latter years of working on my degree, I privately tutored courses in advanced level math (calculus), science (physics), and several engineering courses. Currently, I am working on my Master's of Science in Structural Engineering online through The University of Texas at Arlington. My hope is to one day become a professor at a major university, and I feel that tutoring ... [more]

I believe that everyone has the ability to learn Math. Not everyone has the easiest time learning it in a classroom setting, of course, but I can honestly say I never tutored anyone who didn't understand the material after a little one-on-one explanation. I like to meet a student where they are, emphasize their strengths, and build on the knowledge and understanding they already have. I am a homeschooling mom with a B.S. in Mathematics and Latin from Louisiana State University, and a M.S... [more]

I have successfully tutored calculus students from high school AP Calculus and college calculus classes. Recently, I have refreshed my calculus knowledge by "hitting the books" again and have a renewed appreciation for the power of calculus in solving advanced problems. I also use calculus in helping students solve physics problems. I help learners master concepts and lessons using proven methods of analyzing and simplifying complex problems. I can identify and help correct gaps in prior learning to assist learners in mastering more advanced topics. I enjoy teaching and seeing students gain [more]
