Hi, I have a BA in Mathematics from New York University. I have extensive experience in tutoring, and my approach is to create a strong foundation in whatever area of math I tutor, allowing each student to fully grasp the material and excel. This method is invaluable for preparing for math classes and exams which focus on not just what you know, but also how you think. I received a perfect score on the SATs in Math (800) as well as the SATII Math IIC (800) and a 97, 97, and 98 on the Mat... [more]

I went to school for computer engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, changed my major to chemical engineering and transferred to the University of Delaware where I completed my degree. I started a business with a friend of mine, which I ran successfully for about 12 years. I then changed my career and became a teacher. I currently teach high school level math, chemistry and physics at a private school. I love to teach and help people understand challenging material. I find that visua... [more]

I'm currently a 3rd year undergraduate student at TCNJ. I'm part of the 7-year B.S./M.D. program with a major in Biology. Throughout high school, I've worked as a free-lance tutor for high school students. Currently, I work as an official student tutor, employed by TCNJ, helping other undergraduate students in respective subjects. I also tutor elementary and middle school kids in need at Trenton's Young Scholar's Institute. So, I guess it's fair to say that I have plenty of experience with ... [more]

I received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam and an A in college-level Calculus I at Princeton University. My approach to tutoring mathematics, especially calculus, relies more on tutee application, mostly doing practice exercises to build confidence and familiarity with the subject material, as opposed to mere tutor instruction. I've found this technique especially helpful and one of the common factors between the two incredible calculus teachers/professors that I have had. Hi! My name is Stephanie, and I am currently senior in Princeton University's Molecular Biology department interested in tu [more]
