I am a 2013 graduate from the University of Michigan with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently a packaging engineer at Chrysler for prototype vehicles, working until 4pm on weekdays. Prior to Chrysler, I spent two years working for Yazaki, an automotive supplier. My job at Chrysler and Yazaki requires math on a daily basis. My thorough understanding of math (trigonometry, calculus, physics, etc.) paired with my ability to communicate concepts and alternate methods of approach make... [more]

I love Calculus and am an expert at it. I can teach Calculus at advanced college levels with proficiency. I believe teaching Calculus requires a special skill which I possess. I am a professional working in the automotive Industry. I have a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur-India in Mechanical Engineering, and a PMP from Project Management Professional. As a tutor, I always feel that kids have more potential to learn than what they are and what they think. We have to provide the right atmosphere, at the right time with the right attitude as per their need. I believe that by providing good habits of study and critical thinking methodology at... [more]

As a full-time tutor, I tutor in a lot of subjects. However, of all of my subjects, my favorite is calculus, and with my nearly 100 subjects offered, that is quite the statement. The reason is that I see so many students who have a fear of calculus, that it is some sort of alien entity in math. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you understand basic slope and area formulas, you can understand calculus. It is the most applicable of all higher math classes and the most misunderstood, which is why I love to help and set the record straight for it. Also, please note that I help with all l [more]

Welcome! I currently work as a CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) Engineer at General Motors. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Schreyer Honors College at The Pennsylvania State University. I have a diverse cultural background, having grown up in both the U.S. and in India, for nearly equal portions of my life. When I was younger I never enjoyed studying, not many of us do at that age, and because of that lack of interest, I wasn't an especially good ... [more]
