I have a Masters degree in Mathematics and have tutored the subject in the past. I was a professor at the University of Miami that moved to Central Florida. I have more than 30 years experience tutoring math/physics courses and can (and have taught) from High school to PhD-level math courses and from high school to 2nd year in college physics courses. I love teaching and have taught/tutored from the time I was 13 years old. I always had a passion about math as a subject. I was 13 years old when I had calculus and graduated high school when I was 15 years old. I was a... [more]

I have a BS in Physics with Math Minor. I completed my PhD in Geology & Geophysics from Yale University. Differential Equations is used extensively in physics and geophysics degrees. I'm Joe! I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's of Science with Honors in Physics, with minors in Mathematics and Astronomy. Afterwards, I completed my PhD in Geology & Geophysics from Yale University. During my time, I realized the most rewarding classes were those that were challenging and approachable. Part of the difficulty with many topics is that it is either challenging but [more]

At the core of my studies as a mathematician is differential equations. I am currently studying complex analysis which has everything to do with differential equations. I have taken over half a dozen courses on the subject itself and many more courses which involve differential equations. In the study of mathematics whenever you are dealing with change or rates of change you will more than likely encounter a differential equation as a model for the event which is being studied. I have extensive background dealing with both ordinary and partial differential equations and have access to reso [more]

I have taught and tutored Ordinary Differential Equations at the undergraduate level for 3 years. This includes the integration of ODE with Linear Algebra, and forming numerical solutions to systems of ODE. ODE is taught as an integrated approach with applications in physics and chemistry Hi! My name is Charlie, and I am here to work with you to help you succeed in statistics and mathematics I am a Statistician by profession and have worked in the Statistics Industry for over thirty years. This includes being a college professor, working for IBM, SPSS , and SAS Corporation. I have been f [more]

I have a PhD in physics which involves solving many different kinds of differential equations. I have also taught an undergraduate course in differential equations and taken several applied math courses that deal with differential equations. I also work with students to teach them better study habits and test taking techniques. After starting out as an engineer, I now have 16 years of experience as a math, physics and electronics teacher and 7 years experience as a tutor. Here are five reasons that You might like to have me tutor you or your children. (1) First of all, I know the materia [more]

I studied Differential Equations as part of my Mathematics Minor and my Physics Bachelors degree. I passed a dedicated Differential Equations course and a Mathematical Methods in Physics course which covered Differential Equations as they related to physics subjects. I applied this knowledge extensively throughout my physics courses. I have also tutored Differential Equations at a tutoring center in Tampa. I am a recent graduate of the University of South Florida, with a Bachelors of Science in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. I am currently employed as a Systems Engineer in Orlando. I have [more]

Differential equations is one of the coolest areas of math. I can confidently say this given the plethora of Diff EQ classes I've taken. It's all about being comfortable with the various different methods. Since I love linear algebra so much, I really like annihilator polynomials. My favorite method is probably power series though. I like to try to do power series first when solving a diff eq. Gotta love solving those recurrence relations! It's crazy because when you study calc 2 it's really not obvious at all that sequences would play so heavily in the study of DE. [more]

I passed undergraduate & graduate courses in ordinary & partial differential equations. And I taught differential equations as part of control systems courses. Used differential equations in engineering practice and for my Ph.D. thesis. Retired Professor of Mechanical Engineering wants to help students over the "rough spots." I have the ability to motivate students, and clarify all the difficult parts of their curriculum. Many years of teaching undergraduate and graduate courses enables me to focus on what students find puzzling. This leads to great improvement in their thinking about en [more]
