I have previously taken college level Differential Equations and was a teaching assistant in calculus. As a certified science, math and special education teacher, I enjoy working with students on a daily basis. I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics as well as with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. My Master's degree is from the Warner School of Education in Inclusive Adolescent Science Education. My experience includes over 7 years of tutoring and/or teaching. I have helped students achieve success in every subje [more]

At University of Binghamton I studied Differential Equations and Partial Differential Equations. I applied them in multiple classes such as fluid dynamics and in geophysics problems. I have text books still, and use my differential equations book often to find real world problems to use to teach from. (Physics BA, Math BA, Engineering AS). Most people don't like math. This makes doing it almost impossible. There are usually a few reasons for this: bad experience at school, never seeing the purpose, people withholding the whole picture for later development and never coming back to it because o [more]

I just recently spent a semester teaching a class in Differential Equations. A lot of my students were happy with having me as their teaching assistant, and as a result a lot of them performed well in the course. It was a lot of fun, and having not seen the subject for a few years, I am refreshed in the subject now and am much better equipped to tutor Differential Equations than I was in the past. I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in June 2012 from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. I also received my Master's degree in Mathematics in June 2015 from the University of Connecticut in [more]

There are several methods I know to solve a diff eq as well as different type. There are linear, non-linear, first-order ODE, second order ODE, series, Eigenvalues/eigenvectors and more. All linear equations can be solved using linear method, undetermined coefficients, variation of parameters, wronskian, laplace transforms (w/ or w/o t or s shift), etc. Non-linear ODEs are usually solved numerically but there are some methods that can be done including caushy/euler, power series, etc. I have had experience experience with helping students in a diff. eq class back at my college days. I have been a teaching assistant and grading assistant for the first undergraduate course in differential equations for two semesters at University at Buffalo. This involved holding recitations and office hours in which I answered students' questions and helped them understand the material. I also graded all of their work, including their exams. I've tutored and taught mathematics and physics in a lot of different contexts. Right now, I'm working as a mathematics teaching assistant at the University of Buffalo, but I've also worked as a lecturer for a five-week course in pre-calculus, as a tut [more]

I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics. I have tutored in Mathematics for seven years. I have taken multiple Differential Equation courses for both my graduate and undergraduate degree. I worked as a mathematics tutor while getting my Masters degree. I then was an adjunct lecturer at SUNY Brockport for a semester. I have been working for 3 years at an online tutoring facility called Brainfuse Real-time tutoring and 4 years as an Instaedu/Chegg tutor. I have experience teaching a variety of mathematics topics; from Pre-algebra to topology. Most of the time, I help students work on their hom [more]
