In addition to my Dual degree in Math and Physics from the University of Sciences Of Tunis, I have tutored Differential Equations at Valencia college for a while. For Differential Equation I mainly use Schuam's outline text book in addition to reviewing basic integration skills and Algebra. For laplace transform, I have adapted a study plan that covers most of the possible problems that students usually encounter. My name is Majdi, I'm 37 years old and a father of an amazing 7th grader. I have a Dual Degree in both Mathematics and Physics (Associate of Science degree) from the University of [more]

I have a strong working knowledge of differential equations from my coursework at UCF. I took a course specifically on differential equations, and several courses before and since using the methods studied in that course. While I have not tutored differential equations in the past, I have had much more recent experience with the material than I have had with other subjects that I tutor. I am a recent graduate of UCF with a bachelor?s degree in mathematics and over two years of tutoring and classroom teaching experience. During my time in Seminole County Public schools, I have taught Algebra 1 [more]

I have a PhD in physics which involves solving many different kinds of differential equations. I have also taught an undergraduate course in differential equations and taken several applied math courses that deal with differential equations. I also work with students to teach them better study habits and test taking techniques. After starting out as an engineer, I now have 16 years of experience as a math, physics and electronics teacher and 7 years experience as a tutor. Here are five reasons that You might like to have me tutor you or your children. (1) First of all, I know the materia [more]

Thank you for taking time to read my online profile and blog. My relevant experience is in electronics and electrical engineering. I graduated from Clarion University in Pennsylvania with a degree in physics and electrical engineering. I also earned two types of certifications in electronics and electrical engineering. My experience features brief tenures at Hewlett Packard, Disney, and McKesson. Some of my work pertains to making relevant improvements to the client's current elect... [more]

I have taken several classes in differential equations at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including, but not limited to, differential equations (undergrad), partial differential equations (undergrad), nonlinear DE (grad), PDE (grad), advanced PDE, nonlinear dynamics, advanced nonlinear dynamics, advanced math for engineers. Additionally, solving differential equations was a major part of my dissertation and a component of many classes that had DE as a prerequisite. I have a PhD in Mathematics. I have 8 years of teaching experience at the nation's second largest university (in terms [more]

Differential equations is one of the coolest areas of math. I can confidently say this given the plethora of Diff EQ classes I've taken. It's all about being comfortable with the various different methods. Since I love linear algebra so much, I really like annihilator polynomials. My favorite method is probably power series though. I like to try to do power series first when solving a diff eq. Gotta love solving those recurrence relations! It's crazy because when you study calc 2 it's really not obvious at all that sequences would play so heavily in the study of DE. [more]
