I have graduated with a Bachelors and Master degree in Mathematics. In graduate level my area of research was based on partial differential equations. I wrote a research paper on Numerical solution of reaction diffusion PDE's arising in EN plasma, that will be published in the journal World Scientific Publishing Singapore. I like partial differential equations because it describes instantaneous rate of change, and in a world where everything changes we can describe the real world changes with PDE's and ODE's. [more]

I took the class a year ago and ended with 101%. I have been tutoring the subject to students taught by several different professors (so I am familiar with different learning/teaching styles). This is by far my favorite subject to tutor. I have been a tutor at Weber State University for two and a half years now, and I love it. I love seeing the concepts click as the material is explained from a fellow student's point of view, and not from a seemingly all-knowing teacher/professor. I have received countless excellent reviews from peers as well as those older than me, and I strive to keep up on [more]

As an undergraduate, I obtained a B.S. with highest honors with majors in physics and mathematics. As part of the mathematics major, we were required to take a senior sequence in a number of subject areas. The sequence I chose was Differential Equations. Thus, as an undergraduate, I took and passed four differential equations classes with nothing less than an "A" in each one. Moreover, this does not include the countless number of differential equations that I solved in other math and physics classes such as Quantum Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Mechanics, Statistical Physics, and [more]

I took ordinary differential equations, I and II, and partial differential equation. I received an A for all classes. I used differential equations, in undergraduate and graduate physics classes, including electrodynamics, quantum mechanics and plasma physics. I have used diff eq in my plasma and astrophysics research, which included obtaining numerical solutions using computers. I studied physics and math in college, going on to a PhD in physics. I currently work off and on at a NASA lab, where I have a research grant. Since I am between grants now, I have some hours to tutor while I work on [more]

I learned ordinary and partial differential equations as a senior in high school (courses taken through Utah Valley University). I tutored students in ODE's and other subjects while at UVU. I graduated with a bachelors degree in physics and a minor in math from BYU, where I was required to take partial differential equations again and many of my upper-level physics courses required use of differential equations. I'm Kade! I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a minor in Math from BYU. I have tutored since my senior year of high school, when I worked in the Math Tutorial [more]
