I received an A+ in this subject. I have taught other people in this, and have used them both in physics (for oscillators), and have expanded upon them in mathematical physics. I am a graduate magna cum laude from Cornell University's College of Engineering, and I have more than 7 years of teaching experience. For around 2 years I taught a supplementaty class in college-level math (i.e. multivariable calculus, differential equations, linear algebra) for Cornell. I love teaching, and connecting with each student. I tutor up to majors-level introductory college mathematics and physics, [more]

I have been a teaching assistant and grading assistant for the first undergraduate course in differential equations for two semesters at University at Buffalo. This involved holding recitations and office hours in which I answered students' questions and helped them understand the material. I also graded all of their work, including their exams. I've tutored and taught mathematics and physics in a lot of different contexts. Right now, I'm working as a mathematics teaching assistant at the University of Buffalo, but I've also worked as a lecturer for a five-week course in pre-calculus, as a tut [more]

There are several methods I know to solve a diff eq as well as different type. There are linear, non-linear, first-order ODE, second order ODE, series, Eigenvalues/eigenvectors and more. All linear equations can be solved using linear method, undetermined coefficients, variation of parameters, wronskian, laplace transforms (w/ or w/o t or s shift), etc. Non-linear ODEs are usually solved numerically but there are some methods that can be done including caushy/euler, power series, etc. I have had experience experience with helping students in a diff. eq class back at my college days. I am tutoring another adult in Calculus that includes differential equations. I have a BS in Engineering. I have an ability to understand what I read and explain it in simpler understandable terms. I have recently tutored someone in algebra which I am very comfortable in doing. I am presently tutoring someone in calculus which is a bit more challenging. I graduated from Lehigh University in 1972 as a Civil Engineer and a few years ago retired from the State. I took Calculus 1, 2 and 3 in College a long time ago so am presently refreshing my knowledge of it. I have the ability to read a textboo [more]

I just recently spent a semester teaching a class in Differential Equations. A lot of my students were happy with having me as their teaching assistant, and as a result a lot of them performed well in the course. It was a lot of fun, and having not seen the subject for a few years, I am refreshed in the subject now and am much better equipped to tutor Differential Equations than I was in the past. I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in June 2012 from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. I also received my Master's degree in Mathematics in June 2015 from the University of Connecticut in [more]

I have previously taken college level Differential Equations and was a teaching assistant in calculus. As a certified science, math and special education teacher, I enjoy working with students on a daily basis. I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics as well as with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. My Master's degree is from the Warner School of Education in Inclusive Adolescent Science Education. My experience includes over 7 years of tutoring and/or teaching. I have helped students achieve success in every subje [more]

I can teach ODES (1st and 2nd order), PDEs with separation of variables or with integral transforms. I can also solve ODEs and PDEs numerically with Runge-Kutta and finite differences (explicit or implicit). I have been successfully tutoring students for the Regents, SAT, ACT, GRE math, Algebra I and II, PreCalculus, Calculus, Differential Equations, and Numerical Methods with Matlab. I have also been successful tutoring college students in Engineering math, Matlab, Mech. Engineering courses (Stre. Mat, Elasticity, Numerical methods, Finite Elements, Statics, Dynamics, Heat Transfer). My ind [more]

As a math major I am required to take multiple forms of differential equations courses. I have taken a general ordinary differential equations course along with specific partial differential equations courses with boundary value problems. I have also taken courses that relate differential equations to biological happenings in the body. I got A's in all of my courses and conduct research in working with differential equations to map tumor growth in cancer. I graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor May 2013 with a bachelor's in Mathematical Biology and from Georgia Institute of Te [more]

I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics. I have tutored in Mathematics for seven years. I have taken multiple Differential Equation courses for both my graduate and undergraduate degree. I worked as a mathematics tutor while getting my Masters degree. I then was an adjunct lecturer at SUNY Brockport for a semester. I have been working for 3 years at an online tutoring facility called Brainfuse Real-time tutoring and 4 years as an Instaedu/Chegg tutor. I have experience teaching a variety of mathematics topics; from Pre-algebra to topology. Most of the time, I help students work on their hom [more]
