In addition to my Dual degree in Math and Physics from the University of Sciences Of Tunis, I have tutored Differential Equations at Valencia college for a while. For Differential Equation I mainly use Schuam's outline text book in addition to reviewing basic integration skills and Algebra. For laplace transform, I have adapted a study plan that covers most of the possible problems that students usually encounter. My name is Majdi, I'm 37 years old and a father of an amazing 7th grader. I have a Dual Degree in both Mathematics and Physics (Associate of Science degree) from the University of [more]

I am qualified to be a differential equations tutor because I received an A in the course, then became a grader for the course while working as a tutor for differential equations. I also took partial differential equations this past semester and received an A in the course as well. I have been tutoring DE for three semesters now and have a deep understanding for the material. I am a junior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University studying Aerospace Engineering and minoring in Computational Mathematics. I absolutely love math and love teaching it. I can help with any math up to differential equa [more]

I have a PhD in physics which involves solving many different kinds of differential equations. I have also taught an undergraduate course in differential equations and taken several applied math courses that deal with differential equations. I also work with students to teach them better study habits and test taking techniques. After starting out as an engineer, I now have 16 years of experience as a math, physics and electronics teacher and 7 years experience as a tutor. Here are five reasons that You might like to have me tutor you or your children. (1) First of all, I know the materia [more]

I have earned an A in Differential Equations from Polk State College, as well as a B in Partial Differential Equations at University of Central Florida. I have also tutored Differential equations at UCF and Valencia for the last two years. I know how to solve: Seperable, exact, homogeneous, powerseries, laplace transforms, integrating factors, constant coefficients and change of variables. (I hope I didn't forget any) Hello! My name is Timothy W., and I am studying mathematics at UCF. I am a tutor for both UCF and Valencia college here in Orlando; and have been for about 2 years now. I have o [more]

I have a BS in Physics with Math Minor. I completed my PhD in Geology & Geophysics from Yale University. Differential Equations is used extensively in physics and geophysics degrees. I'm Joe! I graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's of Science with Honors in Physics, with minors in Mathematics and Astronomy. Afterwards, I completed my PhD in Geology & Geophysics from Yale University. During my time, I realized the most rewarding classes were those that were challenging and approachable. Part of the difficulty with many topics is that it is either challenging but [more]

My experience with Differential Equations began in high school when I enrolled in the CIE A level Mathematics course in my pursuit to explore Pure Mathematics. After getting done with high school, I encountered differential equations in the basic Calculus course where we were required to solve linear first order homogeneous/non-homogeneous differential equations. This set the basis for my enrollment in the major Differential Equations course that went well beyond the scope of first order equations. Dealing with new concepts including ordinary differential equations, Wronskians and matrix manip [more]

I have a Masters degree in Mathematics and have tutored the subject in the past. I was a professor at the University of Miami that moved to Central Florida. I have more than 30 years experience tutoring math/physics courses and can (and have taught) from High school to PhD-level math courses and from high school to 2nd year in college physics courses. I love teaching and have taught/tutored from the time I was 13 years old. I always had a passion about math as a subject. I was 13 years old when I had calculus and graduated high school when I was 15 years old. I was a... [more]

Differential equations is one of the coolest areas of math. I can confidently say this given the plethora of Diff EQ classes I've taken. It's all about being comfortable with the various different methods. Since I love linear algebra so much, I really like annihilator polynomials. My favorite method is probably power series though. I like to try to do power series first when solving a diff eq. Gotta love solving those recurrence relations! It's crazy because when you study calc 2 it's really not obvious at all that sequences would play so heavily in the study of DE. [more]

I took a class in differential equations at Lake-Sumter State College in 2013, then I took a more recent class at the University of Central Florida in 2016 entitled Numerical Analysis for Partial and Ordinary Differential Equations (quite a mouthful, I know). I still own the book for the later class, and I can easily brush up on everything so I'm more well-equipped for tutoring differential equations. I have a bachelor's degree in optical science and engineering which heavily utilizes ordinary differential equations, as well as a minor in mathematics. In my math minor, I specialized in wave e [more]
