I am a student at Brigham Young University getting a minor in mathematics. I have just completed a course on differential equations and earned an A. This grade reflects well my grasp of the subject matter. I worked with another student in the class and we helped each other perform well by explaining difficult concepts to each other. I have received a certificate for academic excellence in mathematics, and have tutored on and off campus for two years. I am confident that I have the experience necessary to help you understand differential equations. [more]

I did my Bachelors in Physics and Mathematics from BYU. I recently finished my PH.D. in physics from Washington University in St. Louis and moved to SLC. I enjoy teaching physics and math to students of all level. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer and watch European soccer league matches. I have nine years of physics tutoring experience and has a doctoral degree in physics.... [more]

As an undergraduate, I obtained a B.S. with highest honors with majors in physics and mathematics. As part of the mathematics major, we were required to take a senior sequence in a number of subject areas. The sequence I chose was Differential Equations. Thus, as an undergraduate, I took and passed four differential equations classes with nothing less than an "A" in each one. Moreover, this does not include the countless number of differential equations that I solved in other math and physics classes such as Quantum Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Mechanics, Statistical Physics, and [more]

Differential Equations is a natural successor to the calculus series. In my university, it is now taught together with linear algebra. I have tutored this course, as well as ODEs alone several times, with all students passing. The wording in DEs can confuse some people. I like to explain it in simpler, made-up, reverse-calculus words. Of course, it's a playful way to explain nerdy, technical concepts. I studied Mathematics at the University of Utah (as well as Business Finance and Russian Linguistics). I offer a unique approach to mathematics that is relatable and easy to understand. I b [more]

I learned ordinary and partial differential equations as a senior in high school (courses taken through Utah Valley University). I tutored students in ODE's and other subjects while at UVU. I graduated with a bachelors degree in physics and a minor in math from BYU, where I was required to take partial differential equations again and many of my upper-level physics courses required use of differential equations. I'm Kade! I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a minor in Math from BYU. I have tutored since my senior year of high school, when I worked in the Math Tutorial [more]

I have a degree in math Ed as well as a level 4 current teaching certificate. I have tutored calculus as well as calculus 2 for about 10 years as well. I have also taken continuing Ed. Classes relating to differential equations. I would be happy to take a test if one is available. I have been an active teacher and math tutor for sixteen years. I just moved to the area and am wanting to continue teaching, which is my passion. I have taught high school as well as at risk teens in treatment programs. I have also taught honors students seeking a greater depth of understanding and college stude [more]
