I have taken some classes on the subject and excelled. I have a course in combinatorics and graph theory under my belt as well as having to use the techniques included in those class for my research projects at USF. I was among the top 3 students in each of those classes. There are many ways to improve oneself. None is quite like the power you get from educating yourself on how to better perform. As America moves forward, jobs are requiring more technical knowledge and expertise. And yet at the same time, the education system is bogged down and many students aren?t able to receive the individu [more]

Discrete Mathematics deals with the mathematical elements of computer science including propositional logic, predicate logic, sets, functions and relations, combinatorics, mathematical induction, recursion, algorithms, matrices, graphs, trees, and Boolean logic. As a math major in college, I have many different ways to handle these particular subjects, such as truth tables, mathematical proofs and logic. I've been tutoring math of just about all subjects for 10 years. In that time, I've developed multiple ways of teaching mathematics in a level of understanding that is compatible to multiple [more]

I took this course an undergraduate in Spring 1986. I teach this course about twice a year for Park University. My most recent start date at Park University was January 2, 2015. The course topics for the Park course include combinatorial circuits, sets, proofs, mathematical induction, graphs theory, counting, and probability. I am an experienced college math professor with more than 10 years of teaching high school and college students. I teach all levels of math including Calculus AB/BC, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Algebra 1 & 2, Finite, Geometry, Statistics, Basic Math, Linear Algebra, [more]

Discrete math is a special genre of mathematics that focuses on number theory, modular arithmetic, combinatorics, graph theory and several other topics. Many of these topics are part of other subjects, for example, combinatorics is used in statistics, number theory in arithmetic, and modular arithmetic in abstract algebra (a 400 level course in college). Discrete math was my first course in my masters program at Siena Heights University. I used much of the material as enrichment topics for my high school classes. [more]

I can tutor Discrete Math because I took the Discrete Math class at Oregon State University and got an A grade. I work as a Math and Science tutor for over one year. My students are high school and colleges students and my subjects for Math range from ACT Math, pre-algebra, algebra1, algebra2, pre-calculus, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, discrete math, statistics; chemistry from physical science, general chemistry and organic chemistry. I received my PHD degree in Chemistry and spent 6 years in university to teach general chemistry and labs, organic chemistry and labs, polymer chemistry and [more]
