I completed a discrete mathematics course at Washburn as part of my undergraduate mathematics minor. I took the class in the spring of 2006. I have helped several students with the course since then and have revisited many of the concepts in my further studies. I enjoy making math and science more fun and understandable for middle school, high school, and college students. I graduated in spring '08 with a BS in Physics and Math and in spring '10 with a Master's in Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. I received an A at Georgia State in this class. It was required in my math degree. I also tutored many students in this class at GPC. During the 15 years I tutored there most of the discrete math students were from GPC itself, but I also helped many from Clayton State. I realized I loved tutoring when I started helping my wife's friends get through nursing school. Soon after began tutoring at Georgia Perimeter College and earned my associates degree in mathematics with a concentration on secondary education. While tutoring at the college for well over ten years I learned many different techn [more]
