I have taught general math to young adults attempting to complete their GED and in other matriculation scenarios including Discrete Math and adult learners. I have also taught the progression of Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Trigonometry to several different populations. At ASU, I have currently taken Math Structures (intro. to proof writing), Advanced Calculus (Introduction to Mathematical Analysis which is basically beginning proving calculus), Cryptography I (which has lots of number Theory), and introduction to Abstract Algebra as of Dec. 2013. All of these subjects cover more than 4/5th's of discrete mathematics. My undergrad degree is in Discrete Mathematics. This is the subject of how "finitely separated" things interact with each other. It includes understanding Linear Algebra (Matrices, systems of equations) as well as basic LifeSkills that do not require Calculus (i.e. continuous mathematics).
