I have helped several students from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Colorado State University in econometrics. This class is a combination of statistics and calculus. These are the two subjects I'm most familiar with. Bachelors in Math Education and Masters in Applied Statistics. Several years experience helping students from all levels. I've helped students from different backgrounds--from students with an IEP to gifted students. I have not met a willing student whom I could not help. I excel at clearly explaining challenging math concepts in a way that students can understand. My [more]

I'm in the process of completing a secondary PhD Field in Econometrics. I've taken multiple undergraduate and graduate courses in the subject. I've completed coursework in OLS, MLE, Bootstrapping, and Frontier Estimation. My name is Jeremy and I'm from New York City. I've been tutoring students for the last 10 years in a wide variety of subjects. Specifically, I've tutored all levels of High School Math (including SAT Math), economics (Micro and Macro), and essay writing (college essays and general essay writing ability). I enjoy seeing students improve their grades and their general knowledge [more]

I have both academic and extensive practical experience with econometric analysis. Past professional positions have required the use of generalized multiple linear regression modeling, hedonic regressions, and the analysis of time-series data with lagged variable effects and auto-correlation analysis. Specific modeling areas included investment portfolio analysis, product sales forecasting, loan and deposit modeling, project finance modeling, and country-level macroeconomic modeling. I have a solid background in statistics, economics, finance and mathematics through differential calculus. I am [more]

I received an A in econometrics in high school and college. I realized how much I love this course In 10th grade because of all the math concepts in Econometrics. I have tutored others in this course since I was in high school in the early 90's. As a student, I was gifted in math. I went through school rarely scoring anything lower than a 95 in math courses. I routinely tested in the 99 percentile on standardized test, and as a 6th grader test showed I was already beyond the 11th grade level. I finished several college math courses with a 105 average. I started tutoring math in January of 2001 [more]

I was an economics major at Dartmouth College. I have done extensive coursework in econometrics, culminating in a thesis where I used a fixed effects model to analyze rent/income ratios on commute times by education cohorts. Whether a student is looking learn more about the basic statistics behind economics, or they want to take a deep dive into difference models or testing for heteroskedasticity, I can help! I have worked with the STATA programing language for years (the language used for most high level econometric analysis) so I am qualified to help students with STATA code as well! [more]

I completed course work in a pure Econometrics course, along with similar coursework as part of my graduate Statistics program. This material was also covered in an actuarial exam. My name is Michael and I hold a B.S degree in Mathematics and completed 28 hours of graduate work in Mathematics/Statistics at Eastern Michigan University. I am currently certified to teach all levels of middle and high school mathematics, physics, and economics. Prior to earning my B.S degree, my previous major was Engineering. The combination of my college course work left me with a major in mathematics, Statisti [more]

I have an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from an accredited program which required Macroeconomics and Microeconomics on the graduate level. Econometrics is the theory and practice of analyzing the workings of household, local, regional, national and global economies using mathematics. It makes assumptions about human behavior in economic transactions and uses these to derive rules that managers and decision makers can use in formulating policies, pricing structures, and budgets for a large class of expenditures. I have successful graduate-level experience in econometrics and applied the concepts I learned there in managing my own business. I can help you make sense of the business behind the equations and models. [more]
