I have taken college courses in Statistics and Probabilities for Econometrics. Topics include Probability Distributions for Joint, Marginal and Conditional Probabilities, Variance and Co-variance for Discrete and Continuous Random Variables. Methods also include Simple Linear Regression, Least Squares Estimators to estimate non-linear relationships and interpret the results. Interval Estimation and Hypothesis Testing, Regression with Time-Series Data to describe the average or systematic behavior of many individuals or systems. Gerald has advanced degrees with concentrations in economics and econometrics. He also has successfully completed a number of econometric studies in business. Finally, he is currently conducting research at the university level using econometric techniques. Gerald has significant experience and knowledge in a variety of academic subject areas such as information technology, math, statistics, finance, economics. In the teaching arena, he currently teaches both online and in local campuses. In addition, he has successfully mentored doctoral students seeking dissertation approval, developed cour [more]

I worked at CERN throughout my Physics masters and acquired lots of computer analysis expertise. This was very useful and helped me master Econometrics during my Economics PhD and utilize those techniques in many analyses. I constantly use Econometrics both in Stata, R, and sometimes Excel in my own research. I currently work as an Economics PhD researcher/teacher at USF and have a Masters of Physics from University at Buffalo with 5 years of teaching experience, specialized toward college students. I work in all fields of mathematics and physics with a comprehensive knowledge in each. As a Te [more]

My undergraduate thesis was a theoretical investigation of linear modeling techniques, many of which are directly applied in econometrics. The research I did there help build an econometric model predicting Heisman trophy winners for the Econometrics team at Whitman College. I earned my Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Hawaii at the end of 2016. Before going to graduate school I was a full time math teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam for students in grades 6-9 and a part time teacher and tutor for students in grades 9-12. I have been tutoring math and sciences for over eight years [more]

I have a University degree with a BS in Mathematics and Economics. I am a holder of BS, MCP, MSE, IEEE and University degrees with double major in MATH and Electron Physics from Roosevelt University of Chicago and have completed 26 credit-hour postgraduate work in Mathematics, Electron Physics and Electronics at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. I have received an official Status of Eligibility to teach Mathematics (grades 5-9) and (grades 6-12) from the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Educator Certification. I have completed a backgr... [more]

I received an A in econometrics in high school and college. I realized how much I love this course In 10th grade because of all the math concepts in Econometrics. I have tutored others in this course since I was in high school in the early 90's. As a student, I was gifted in math. I went through school rarely scoring anything lower than a 95 in math courses. I routinely tested in the 99 percentile on standardized test, and as a 6th grader test showed I was already beyond the 11th grade level. I finished several college math courses with a 105 average. I started tutoring math in January of 2001 [more]

I completed two courses at the undergraduate level in econometrics, these are (1) Introductory Econometrics and (2) Intermediate Econometrics; both course were 4 credit courses. I did some advance econometrics at the graduate level. I taught econometrics at the University of Guyana for two semesters and I also used econometrics techniques in my research. I am very passionate about economics, finance, and business. I have a unique ability to explain and deliver these subject materials in a very simple way. I always meet deadlines and I prioritize tasks well. I believe my most outstanding abilit [more]
