I am an economics major from Pomona College where I took econometrics during the spring 2015 semester. I also took an applied econometrics course in the summer of 2014 at the University of New Mexico. I have both theoretical and practical knowledge of econometrics and regression analysis that will be useful to students. I am pursuing a Master's degree in Teaching at Columbus State University with an emphasis in Mathematics through the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship. My undergraduate thesis was a theoretical investigation of linear modeling techniques, many of which are directly applied in econometrics. The research I did there help build an econometric model predicting Heisman trophy winners for the Econometrics team at Whitman College. I earned my Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Hawaii at the end of 2016. Before going to graduate school I was a full time math teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam for students in grades 6-9 and a part time teacher and tutor for students in grades 9-12. I have been tutoring math and sciences for over eight years [more]

I received an A in econometrics in high school and college. I realized how much I love this course In 10th grade because of all the math concepts in Econometrics. I have tutored others in this course since I was in high school in the early 90's. As a student, I was gifted in math. I went through school rarely scoring anything lower than a 95 in math courses. I routinely tested in the 99 percentile on standardized test, and as a 6th grader test showed I was already beyond the 11th grade level. I finished several college math courses with a 105 average. I started tutoring math in January of 2001 [more]

In the world of academics, I've successfully taken, passed, and tutored for every econometrics course at UCF. Additionally, I wrote an honor's thesis using both economic theory and econometric applications (namely autoregressive distributed lag modelling). As a working professional, I've developed econometric models to help with business forecasting needs. Additionally, I've used econometric modeling in combination with primary data to develop professional categorical typing models. I am an economics tutor for any and all economics related coursework, as well as a mathematics tutor for any cla [more]
