I have helped several students from the University of Colorado at Boulder and Colorado State University in econometrics. This class is a combination of statistics and calculus. These are the two subjects I'm most familiar with. Bachelors in Math Education and Masters in Applied Statistics. Several years experience helping students from all levels. I've helped students from different backgrounds--from students with an IEP to gifted students. I have not met a willing student whom I could not help. I excel at clearly explaining challenging math concepts in a way that students can understand. My [more]

I took two courses in Econometrics as an undergrad and graduated with a degree in Economics. I used econometric analysis in a pilot study at BYU and was given an award by the College of Social Sciences for my research. I also used econometric analysis for demand modeling as an MBA student, and completed mathematics coursework through Multivariable Calculus. I am an economics major from Pomona College where I took econometrics during the spring 2015 semester. I also took an applied econometrics course in the summer of 2014 at the University of New Mexico. I have both theoretical and practical knowledge of econometrics and regression analysis that will be useful to students. I am pursuing a Master's degree in Teaching at Columbus State University with an emphasis in Mathematics through the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship. I have taken college courses in Statistics and Probabilities for Econometrics. Topics include Probability Distributions for Joint, Marginal and Conditional Probabilities, Variance and Co-variance for Discrete and Continuous Random Variables. Methods also include Simple Linear Regression, Least Squares Estimators to estimate non-linear relationships and interpret the results. Interval Estimation and Hypothesis Testing, Regression with Time-Series Data to describe the average or systematic behavior of many individuals or systems. Other Economic Models include Qualitative and Limited Dependent [more]

I have both academic and extensive practical experience with econometric analysis. Past professional positions have required the use of generalized multiple linear regression modeling, hedonic regressions, and the analysis of time-series data with lagged variable effects and auto-correlation analysis. Specific modeling areas included investment portfolio analysis, product sales forecasting, loan and deposit modeling, project finance modeling, and country-level macroeconomic modeling. I have a solid background in statistics, economics, finance and mathematics through differential calculus. I am [more]

I took an econometrics course at Georgia Tech. I have taken another course at Georgia Tech that further delved into Econometric concepts and I have a strong math background in linear regression concepts. I have been involved in tutoring various disciplines from music (piano) to math for the last six years. I enjoy helping people learn and think that the ability to problem solve is one of the most skills a person can have. I recently graduated from Georgia Tech and after numerous advanced math an engineering courses I think that if you ask for my help you will see your grades and outlook improv [more]

I received an A in econometrics in high school and college. I realized how much I love this course In 10th grade because of all the math concepts in Econometrics. I have tutored others in this course since I was in high school in the early 90's. As a student, I was gifted in math. I went through school rarely scoring anything lower than a 95 in math courses. I routinely tested in the 99 percentile on standardized test, and as a 6th grader test showed I was already beyond the 11th grade level. I finished several college math courses with a 105 average. I started tutoring math in January of 2001 [more]

I have an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from an accredited program which required Macroeconomics and Microeconomics on the graduate level. I received A's in both accelerated graduate-level courses. I also teach college-level math with some applications from economics. My professional experience includes Senior Design Engineer/Principal where I provide civil/structural design, hydraulic design and drafting support for land development projects; conduct environmental site assessments/jurisdictional wetlands delineations; conduct asbestos inspections; analyze geotechnical conditions [more]
