Econometrics is based upon the development of statistical methods for estimating economic relationships, testing theories, and evaluating government and business policy. I have taken 9 graduate hours studying the methods and applications of the subject, 3 hours were PhD level. I teach an undergrad research methods class at Edison State College where we use some the basics of econometrics. I am a professor at Florida SouthWestern State College. I am selective of the students I select due to the limitation on my time. I meet in my office on the Collier Campus of FSW. I tutor Algebra and all Math [more]

Gerald has significant experience and knowledge in a variety of academic subject areas such as information technology, math, statistics, finance, economics. In the teaching arena, he currently teaches both online and in local campuses. In addition, he has successfully mentored doctoral students seeking dissertation approval, developed cour [more]

I worked at CERN throughout my Physics masters and acquired lots of computer analysis expertise. This was very useful and helped me master Econometrics during my Economics PhD and utilize those techniques in many analyses. I constantly use Econometrics both in Stata, R, and sometimes Excel in my own research. I currently work as an Economics PhD researcher/teacher at USF and have a Masters of Physics from University at Buffalo with 5 years of teaching experience, specialized toward college students. I work in all fields of mathematics and physics with a comprehensive knowledge in each. As a Te [more]

I have a deep understanding of econometric models and methods. In my graduate studies I have taken Advanced Econometrics and Time Series Analysis courses in addition to undergraduate intermediate level econometrics. Currently I am co-authoring an econometrics paper with Dr. Ky Hyang Yuhn of Florida Atlantic University. The paper examines the relationship between increased activity in futures market s and volatility in the spot market. The Vix index, a measure of implicit volatility, is used as a proxy for volatility. I am also working individually on a second paper titled, ?Testing for Coi [more]

My undergraduate thesis was a theoretical investigation of linear modeling techniques, many of which are directly applied in econometrics. The research I did there help build an econometric model predicting Heisman trophy winners for the Econometrics team at Whitman College. I earned my Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Hawaii at the end of 2016. Before going to graduate school I was a full time math teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam for students in grades 6-9 and a part time teacher and tutor for students in grades 9-12. I have been tutoring math and sciences for over eight years [more]
