I took two courses in Econometrics as an undergrad and graduated with a degree in Economics. I used econometric analysis in a pilot study at BYU and was given an award by the College of Social Sciences for my research. I also used econometric analysis for demand modeling as an MBA student, and completed mathematics coursework through Multivariable Calculus. I received an A in econometrics in high school and college. I realized how much I love this course In 10th grade because of all the math concepts in Econometrics. I have tutored others in this course since I was in high school in the early 90's. As a student, I was gifted in math. I went through school rarely scoring anything lower than a 95 in math courses. I routinely tested in the 99 percentile on standardized test, and as a 6th grader test showed I was already beyond the 11th grade level. I finished several college math courses with a 105 average. I started tutoring math in January of 2001 [more]

I worked at CERN throughout my Physics masters and acquired lots of computer analysis expertise. This was very useful and helped me master Econometrics during my Economics PhD and utilize those techniques in many analyses. I constantly use Econometrics both in Stata, R, and sometimes Excel in my own research. I currently work as an Instructor and Researcher in Economics at University of South Florida (USF) and have a Masters of Physics from University at Buffalo with 5 years of teaching experience, specialized toward college students. I work in all fields of mathematics and physics with a comp [more]

I have both academic and extensive practical experience with econometric analysis. Past professional positions have required the use of generalized multiple linear regression modeling, hedonic regressions, and the analysis of time-series data with lagged variable effects and auto-correlation analysis. Specific modeling areas included investment portfolio analysis, product sales forecasting, loan and deposit modeling, project finance modeling, and country-level macroeconomic modeling. I have a solid background in statistics, economics, finance and mathematics through differential calculus. I am [more]

Initially, my background in Stats came from studying Actuarial Science in college. In Graduate School, I was taught how to apply Econometrics and Time-Series Econometric methods to analyze economic situations. I also learned about Predictive Analytics and Data Mining while getting my Graduate Certificate in Big Data Analytics (similar to Econometrics). I primarily used STATA in Grad School, but I am also very good at Excel. If you need help in Econometrics, send me what you need to go over, and I will let you know if I can help. [more]

My PhD coursework included quantitative coursework that utilized STATA and was in econometrics. I have taken coursework in statistics and econometrics in my Masters and Bachelors coursework. PhD (Public Administration) coursework: Quantitative I and II. Masters (criminal justice) coursework: regression. Bachelors (Psychology) coursework: experimental psychology and social science statistics. I have taught an undergraduate course: measurement and analysis in criminal justice that included statistics and elements of econometrics. Quantitative I and II heavily dealt with econometrics and the oth [more]
