As a college undergraduate, I took a semester of Fortran 95, and then taught the class until I graduated. I created lessons, delivered lectures, graded work, held office hours, and scheduled appointments to work with students one-on-one. My name is Chuck. I'm 30 years old, I have a B.S. in computer science and a minor in math from North Carolina State University. I'm a former college instructor, I've worked in software for eight years, and I am looking to go back to school to get a teaching certificate. I've also recently been a contestant on Jeopardy! Back when I was a college student, I pla [more]

I am one of the lead developers for MFiX, a 100,000 line Fortran code used in multiphase computational fluid dynamics. I have been coding in Fortran for three years. I'm a software engineer with 15 years experience. I've worked on a variety of systems and projects, mostly Java, C++, and Python. Currently I work on computational fluid dynamics code in Fortran and Python. Recently I completed my Master's in Computer Science at Penn State and would like to start tutoring in my free time. I enjoy helping students learn and succeed, and challenge myself to make sure I maintain mastery of the fund [more]

I have experience with several versions of FORTRAN including, FORTRAN77, FORTRAN95, and Compaq Visual Fortran. My undergraduate and graduate theses included creation of several programs for post processing of data and additional analysis. These programs included I/O portions to enable multiple uses. LET ME BE YOUR ACADEMICS PERSONAL TRAINER! OVER 20 YEARS OF PRIVATE TUTORING EXPERIENCE! YOUR ONE STOP SHOP WITH EXPERIENCE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF SUBJECTS! I completed my PhD in nuclear engineering at Penn State. I have successfully instructed physics and several engineering courses at Penn [more]

I learned FORTRAN 64 back in 1968 using punched cards on an IBM 360 environment. During that summer, I designed a payroll processing application that did process the pay and paychecks for a company that had approx. 350 employees. I heard that the system was used until 1974 when new technology was used. I never used FORTRAN since then. It is a language that is mainly used in engineering oriented systems and in the simulation of environmental effects such as wind patterns in buildings that have unusual architectural shapes (example is the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Quebec). I have never [more]

I have used and programmed in Fortran frequently for more than 10 years. During my studies at the University of Pittsburgh I have frequently used Fortran to write programs to solve engineering problems requiring complex calculations. As part of my PhD thesis I wrote a lengthy Fortran program to simulate industrial chemical reactors. I offer tutoring services specializing in Math for High School and College students and tests preparation (SAT and ACT). I also tutor in other Science subjects as well as French and Computer/Programming basics. I consider myself a very patient tutor and like to ada [more]

I am a Mathematician and Physicist, and have been programming computers in both Applesoft BASIC and Dartmouth BASIC for years. My professional experience is in FORmula TRANslation (Fortran), where I have solved several numerical Eigenvalue problem, either by adapting parts of standard code or writing my own. Due to the power of Excel, many elementary to advanced programs can be written via this package, which in fact, I do take advantage of. I also have a great library of MAPLE programs and Statistical packages, and have used some Mathematica. However, I have minimal passing familiarity w [more]

I took a course using Fortan as a graduate student (Grade A). I also used Fortran regularly in research for obtaining my PhD. I wrote Grand Canonical Ensemble simulation code in Fortran. I earned my Bachelor's in Physics at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and my PhD. at Lehigh University. While at Kutztown I worked as a tutor in Math, Physics, Economics, and almost tutored Organic Chemistry (I did rather well for the first lesson without even taking the course). I also worked at the Da Vinci Science Center as a floor coordinator. My educational responsibilities included training volunteers [more]

I have over fifty years of programming experience in Fortran, Fortran 77 and Fortran 90. I learned Fortran as an undergraduate at MIT, and have used it there, as a graduate student at Cornell University, and as a scientist and Senior Programer at MIT, at New York University, at the NASA/Goddard Institute for Space Studies, and at the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. I have over 1450 hours tutoring experience with over 90 students, including many in various levels of Fortran and in other areas of Computer Science. [more]

I have a solid 20+ years of programming experience in Fortran, Algorithms, Numerical Analysis. I am very Fluent in FORTRAN. I am an engineer by background. I hold an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, NJ. I enjoy working with students (elementary, middle, and high school) and have helped a number of students become proficient and independent in many different subjects. The best part about tutoring for me is working with students one-on-one and knowing that I played a part in their academic success. I stress fundamentals and go the extra length to make sure that st [more]

As part of my engineering studies, it was required that I take Fortran programming. I had studied Fortran IV, and have updated myself to the new Fortran VII. There are not too many changes. I can help you construct, test, debug, and run your programs. The process can be tedious; however, with a little time & patience, you can be successful. I also do C, C++, Java, MatLab, & Excel programming. ?Master Tutor? of Both High School & College Mathematics & Sciences Courses. -I work mornings, afternoons, or evenings. A background check is on file with WyzAnt if you needed. -I travel around m [more]
