Hi! I have many years of tutoring experience for all grade levels. The bad news is that most students struggle with Math. The good news is that, not only is it my favorite subject but I also have a teaching credential in Math that allows me to teach Math for grades K-12! My students find me approachable and feel comfortable to ask me questions on their homework. I also have patience with students and I take my time explaining concepts to them. The GED Mathematics Test tests students' knowledge of arithmetic, algebra and geometry. Many questions are posed as sentence problems so that students will need to understand concepts in these statements. The test is divided into halves, the first half allowing the use of a calculator and the other not allowing the use of the calculator. In the past 25 years, I have helped numerous GED candidates (MINORS & ADULTS) to study, take and successfully pass the GED Mathematics Test, which measures high school level skills and knowledge. This has given them an opportunity to feel a great sense of ac [more]

Obtaining a high school diploma or completing the GED exam is one huge step towards empowering yourself to have the skills needed in the workforce today. My heart goes out to those who for whatever reason did not complete high school and now struggle to keep a job. I would enjoy helping people assess their current level, and then make goals and work towards their GED. I taught in post-secondary schools for over 11 years and assisted individuals train for working in the computer field. I have my Master of Science in Education and enjoy teaching. [more]
