I've worked with students from grades 6-Freshman in college in math both inside the classroom professionally as well as through one-on-one practice. I am quite familiar with the material needed to review for the GED math portion but I also come prepared with additional resources during our sessions. The Math portion of the GED tests how to solve algebraic and quantitative problems. I have a significant amount of experience helping students with these types of math questions. I have GED practice tests, and we will ultimately break down each question on there to prep for the actual one. I am new to Wyzant, but definitely not new to tutoring**. In my opinion, tutoring is all about repairing the disconnect in knowledge and help the student understand the topic conceptually.
