I have always excelled in mathematics. I scored 780 on SAT Math and 790 on GRE Quantitative (maximum score of 800 for each test). I never lost points on Geometry on either of those tests, primarily because of an awesome Geometry teacher I had as a sophomore in high school. I have completed two graduate degrees today and still consider my high school Geometry teacher right at the top of the list of best teachers I ever had. I have helped many high school students understand mathematics concepts. My special education experience, chiefly in middle school and high school settings, helps me to ser [more]

If you are struggling with geometry, contact me. You see, you really can understand theorems, postulates, proofs, triangles, parallelograms, and oh so much more. Don't wait and figure 'oh it will get better'. Let's work together. i will encourage you and help you. You CAN do this!! Tutoring while guiding the student is my purpose. I believe that all students can learn and become high achievers if they are given the appropriate tools and strategies. I have an MBA from Ohio State University, a BA in Economics and a BBA in Management (from St. Mary's at Notre Dame). I have a minor in humani [more]

Hello, my name is Dr. Kelly, and I am well versed in mathematics, physics, and the medical sciences. I got my undergraduate degrees in physics and economics and my doctor of naturopathic medicine degree from SCNM. I currently teach anatomy and physiology. I believe that a good tutor gets to know their student and understands what THEIR problems are and attends to them instead of just trying to hammer all the concepts into their head. In my experience, even the most abstract mathematical or ... [more]

Spatial awareness and relationships is a strong point with me; I've always enjoyed Geometry. Developed and published a simple method for trisecting an angle with a compass and a ruler in my high-school days. I've scored a near perfect 148/150 in secondary school math, and a perfect 800 in the Graduate Record Examination's math section. Teaching is my first love in life. I began my career as a Temporary Lecturer in my undergrad engineering college, teaching one of the most challenging of subjects: Electrical Materials Science. I then worked as a Visiting Faculty member at another such college [more]

Hi, My name is Tsihugwa, which can be a tongue twister so friends call me Zee and students call me Mr. Zee. I have been a teacher/tutor for almost 28 years having first taught musical instruments in 1984. I graduated with Bachelor of Science in Physics in 1986 and a Master of Arts in Communication in 2001. I have taught high school, community college, and am currently on the online faculty at the University of Phoenix. In December 2010, I published my first novel entitled Son of the Oracle. ... [more]

I loved Geometry in high school. At first, like many students, I was confused by all of the different angles and numbers, however, I soon found my niche and from there it was smooth sailing. One of the things that I took pride in that year was being able to help my fellow students who were having trouble in Geometry. Between my love of the subject, and already helping other students learn how to do it well, I know that I can be the right tutor for you. If you want an easy going, stress-free, mistakes-okay environment to learn Geometry in, then I am the tutor for you. As of December 2016 I've [more]

I teach others, especially those who have, for whatever reason, obstacles in their learning. I teach teachers. I teach those who will, one day, be able to teach future generations. After fifteen years of educating in Special Education classrooms in California and Arizona, I redirected my energies primarily on tutoring individual students. When I can focus my full attention on a single student, I can identify needs and strategies faster, and address concerns as they arise. I work with par... [more]

Mathematics has always been one of my favorite subjects. I have taken college level courses in advanced math, including geometry, and teaching mathematics. At my last school, I taught geometry to high school students on an individual basis, much like tutoring, using several different computer platforms. I also taught geometry concepts to students in small groups, according to what skills they needed to pass the AIMS test. I believe that knowing how to work with circles is essential to success in geometry. This is an area that many students have difficulty with. I carefully teach my students [more]

A.S. degree in Mathematics. Prior experience tutoring both standard and advanced level geometry to middle school, high school, and undergraduate students. Extensive experience with proofs and logic. I am seeking students for most subjects related to math, science, and engineering. I have two B.S. degrees: one in Materials Science and Engineering and one in Chemical Engineering and am currently pursuing my M.S. degree in Earth and Environmental Science. I have a life long passion for learning and am particularly interested in all technical subjects. I developed an interest in sharing my en [more]

Geometry is interesting. It deals with questions of shape, size, relative position of the shapes, and the properties of space. As a student that shied away from almost every subject, I appreciate how daunting any subject can be. My individual finding is nothing is more rewarding than successfully winning a good grade with a subject that you struggle with. Mathematics: I have many years preparing students for success by understanding different learning styles and tutoring to a student?s style. From basic arithmetic to algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus, I can find a way to succ [more]
