I have a masters in math from 1975. During my 10 years of tutoring, I have tutored middle school and high school geometry several times. I tutored one student during his entire year taking geometry. I have a formula sheet from his business calculus book that has area and volume formulae. While teaching middle school math in Illinois, I taught transformational geometry to 7th grade students. My greatest reward is to see the "light bulb," the "now I understand," look. During my years as a student, at all levels, I helped my fellow students. Some told me that I could explain better than the [more]

I can help any student that wishes to improve their performance in Geometry. I know the common pitfalls to avoid as well as the "trick" questions teachers will include on quizzes and tests! I recently retired after teaching high school math for 20 years (the last 10 at Guyer HS in Denton). Geometry and Algebra are my greatest strengths. Although retired from teaching, I still enjoy working one on one with students and helping them get the best grades possible! If you wish to improve your scores, I can help you!... [more]

I've tutored or taught math in general for nearly a decade, and my most advanced coursework in college involved geometry. I've worked in a tutoring or teaching role for most of my adult life, and I love helping other people learn! While earning my B.S. in math, I worked in my university's math clinic, tutoring a variety of (math) subjects, and while I was in graduate school I was a teaching assistant in the math department for two years, and for one year I work [more]
